What To Expect

Upon arrival at the door…

You will be welcomed by someone at our greeters station! They will give you a visitor card and a small gift of appreciation from our church. As you can see above there are several places to sit and fellowship. It is very common to see couples and younger children in this area. Most people congregate in this area before and after services as they drink their coffee/tea and talk about their life throughout the week.

Our Coffee Counter…

If you love coffee or tea we have everything you need right here! At our coffee counter, everyone is welcome to enjoy different types of coffee and tea at no cost to you! We have all the “fixins” you will need to get your beverage just right. We simply ask that you do not take your beverage into the church sanctuary. There are plenty of other places for you to sit down and enjoy!

If you have young children or are a nursing mother

We have a designated nursery that is staffed by well qualified ladies to help watch your little ones! It is not mandatory to put your little ones in the nursery but we kindly ask you to please use the nursery or junior church room if your child does get fussy in the service. In both the nursery and junior church room, we do have the service live streaming so that way you do not miss out on the service itself.

The Sanctuary, The Service and the Sermon

The sanctuary is the most important part of our facility. This is where we gather together to hear the Word of God preached and taught. The sanctuary is place where we can sing praises unto the Lord and allow the Spirit of God to work in our hearts. The service is Christ honoring. The singing is old fashioned yet lively. While the service is going on whether it is during the singing or preaching you may hear some “amens” or “thats right” coming from some of our congregation. The preaching that you will hear will be dynamic, Biblical yet practical for everyday life. The message that you hear will be applicable to your life and will cover a variety of different topics throughout the different services you attend. At the end of the sermon, there will be a moment of “invitation” or an “old fashioned altar call” where you will personally be allowed an opportunity to come to the altar as the Spirit of God leads you. At the altar you can pray or receive prayer. Many folks take advantage of this great opportunity.

At the end of the service

At the end of the service is when a couple of things happen: Number one, you may be able to witness someone being baptized. We believe according to the Bible that after one gets saved it is important that they follow the Lord in believers baptism. Feel free to stick around for that and rejoice with us as someone is being obedient in following the Lord. Number two, at the end of the service we take up our offering. You are not required to participate but we do ask that you place the visitor card we gave you when you walked in into the plate so that we have a record of your visit.
